Description
Trip to the mountain of Ten Commandments, Mount Sinai, Moses Mountain, for a memorable experience and watching the sunrise from its holy peak.
We run this tour every Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
Pickup time between 9-10 pm depending on your hotel’s location
Pick up from the hotel in Sharm el Sheikh at 22.00 pm
Pick up from your hotel in Sharm el Sheikh, transfer by air conditioned van or bus for around 2.30 hours to Saint Catherine city.
Climbing Mount Sinai
Start to climb the mountain between 1.30 and 2.30 AM to reach the holy peak. It takes between two and three hours on foot or by camel. Then wait on the holy peak till sunrise, watch unforgettable Sunrise.
Visit the Monastery of Saint Catherine
In the morning come down to visit the monastery of Saint Catherine where the burning bush, the church of transfiguration, Moses well, museum and the Icon gallery are. The monastery opens at 9.00 AM till 12.00 PM every day except Sunday and Friday.
Breakfast
After the visit, we will have breakfast in a hotel near the Monastery of Saint Catherine.
Drive back to Sharm el Sheikh
Drive back to Sharm el Sheikh. We will be back between 13:00 and 14.00 afternoons.
