Description

The Red Sea is internationally considered one of the most beautiful seas in the world.
Thanks to its particular conformation, and the richness of fish and corals, it became in a very short time one of the favorite places for sea lovers, so that it has been internationally awarded the best dive destination in the world.

Every day – 9.00 am/4.30 pm

Its fame is due both to the efficient dive structures and services developed along the coastline, and to its beauty and peculiarity.

Although the origin of its name is still enshroud, the Red Sea has a ancient history. Its waters had been ploughed by several civilizations like Ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs and later, the Europeans.

It is also an important passageway for commercial traffic for Europe, Africa and the Middle East, over the centuries the Red Sea’s waters have seen ships loaded of incense, myrrh, ivory, spices, precious carpets and skins of exotic animals.

2.250 km in length, 300 km in width and a depth of 2.850 m, the Red Sea is surrounded by 1930 km of desert and divides the Arabic Peninsula from Africa. It is a closed sea, with no affluence, that communicates only with the Indian Ocean through a narrow 29 km strait and with a depth of only 134 m.
For these reasons the Red Sea has the same characteristics of tropical seas, moreover it is also characterized by high temperatures and the salinity of the waters, which are subjected all year round to an important evaporation.

Dating back 40 million years, when the African plaque started to detach from the Asiatic one, the Red Sea has a lively geological history that dramatically influenced the development of the marine fauna and coral reef that now totals around 1.248 different species of tropical fish and around 250 kinds of corals.
Depending on the seasons, you will see turtles, manta rays, whale sharks, tuna and dolphins in addition to a multitude of tropical coloured fish that will make your dive a unique experience.

Jacques Cousteau named this sea “the corridor of the wonders”, and we agree with him.
For those wishing to stay on the surface of the water you will not be disappointed either. Equipped with a snorkel and a mask you will find yourself swimming amongst colourful tropical fish and around the amazing colourful corals.

An experience not to be missed.

The price includes food and beverage on board.
